Welcome!
Each summer, Conference and Guest Services hosts over 12,000 guests, from more than 100 local and regional groups, in the Virginia Tech residence halls. From youth and athletic camps to annual conferences for professional organizations and academic groups, we offer a variety of affordable lodging options for your program participants to call home. We also provide several reservable spaces and amenities across campus to help your event run smoothly and your guests feel comfortable.
Conference and Guest Services is also proud to offer a 24-hour hospitality desk, located in New Hall West. We offer a variety of services at the desk, including check-in/check-out, mail pick-up, and knowledgeable guidance to the Virginia Tech campus and the surrounding Blacksburg area. Our staff members are on call during evening hours, ready to assist in the event of an emergency.
2026 Commencement Housing
Hokies can enjoy commencement weekend without the frustrations of finding lodging for themselves and their families! In an effort to provide convenient, low-cost accommodations, Conference and Guest Services provides air-conditioned residence hall space for families and guests of graduates. Many guests find that staying in our halls during commencement weekend minimizes parking and dining difficulties while creating a memorable, nostalgic experience.
