Rudi is the Assistant Student Life Coordinator for the Residential College at West Amber Johnston. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in higher education at Virginia Tech. He is extremely excited to work with the students from all over the world and various backgrounds in West Ambler Johnston and to see the residents reach their potential. In addition to being engaged with students, he works with the Student Life Coordinator and Faculty Principal to bring the residential college model to life. Rudi graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Mathematical Economics but wished to serve and still play a role in student learning. This wish to serve led him to teaching and higher education in Thailand. As a university lecturer in Thailand, he spent time engaging students to challenge them about what a university experience can be and encouraged students to be curious about the world around them.
