Hokie Family Handbook
Your student’s Hokie Passport will become their “everything” card.
Hokie Passport Services offers many convenient services online as well as a list of local merchants who accept Hokie Passport as payment. You can also view balances, transaction history, and make deposits to your student’s Hokie Passport.
Hokie SPA is the online dashboard where your student can view their course schedule, add/drop courses, and make Hokie Passport and Dining Dollars deposits. Your student can also add you as an authorized payer to view and pay tuition bills. Have them visit Hokie SPA to get started.
University Bursar's Office
The University Bursar offers you an online portal to pay your student’s tuition. Work with your student to establish you as an authorized payer through Hokie SPA. You’ll need this access to view and pay bills. While your student is logged into Hokie SPA, they should also create a guest account for you, which will allow you to view financial aid and academic records.
Office of Veterans Services
In collaboration with the University Registrar and the Student Success Center, the Office of Veterans Services ensures that veterans, military students, and dependents are connected to the resources necessary for a successful transition through their course of study at Virginia Tech. Students served by the Office of Veterans Services have access to tutoring, mentoring, assistance navigating the VA system, and the Veterans@VT student organization.
