Nick Martin

Barringer Hall/Miles Hall ARLC

Nick serves as Assistant Residential Learning Coordinator for the Barringer and Miles communities. He earned a B.S. in Hospitality Management at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and is currently pursuing his M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Virginia Tech.

Prior to this position, Nick worked at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado, as Programming Specialist Intern and worked closely with the Office of Student Life and Recreation. Through these diverse experiences, Nick has developed a passion for creating intentional living-learning spaces where he can interact with students daily and assist them in embracing their authentic selves.

In his free time, Nick enjoys hiking in the nearby mountains, spending time with friends, and traveling to new and exciting places.

Nick’s favorite Aspiration is Self-Understanding and Integrity because it allows students to more fully explore their holistic personal and professional development in their daily lives.
