Megan Lorincz

Oak Lane FSL GA

Megan serves the Virginia Tech community as graduate assistant for Fraternity and Sorority Housing in the Oak Lane community, which consists of 19 fraternity and sorority houses. In her role, she assists with the day-to-day administration, supervision, and management of the Oak Lane community as well as co-supervising and advising 18 house supervisors. Megan serves as a liaison between Housing and Residence Life and Fraternity and Sorority Life.

Megan is currently pursuing her master’s in Higher Education at Virginia Tech. She is a recent graduate of Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, with a degree in Communication Studies and a double minor in Leadership Studies and Theater. During her time at CNU, Megan served her campus as a Resident Assistant, discovering her passion for working with college students and a love of all things student affairs.

The Aspiration of Ut Prosim resonates most with Megan partially because she studied Latin for the majority of her academic career, but also because it encourages an environment of service and support throughout the Hokie community and beyond.

When Megan is not working, she is most likely walking her Pomeranian, Mickey, spending time with her family (most of whom are Hokies!), watching Netflix, reading, hanging with friends, crafting up a storm, or working on her mountains of homework!
