Jade Carcamo

Vawter Hall/NewmanHall ARLC

Jade serves as Assistant Residential Learning Coordinator for the Vawter and Newman communities. She received her bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Jade is currently working on her masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Virginia Tech.

Prior to joining the Vawter and Newman community, Jade served as Assistant Residential Learning Coordinator for Johnson Hall. Her passion is to educate, mentor, and guide students to help them become a better version of themselves. Jade strives to be an integral part of students’ growth and development by providing opportunities and spaces where students feel accepted and are able to work on becoming who they hope to be.

In her spare time, Jade enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family, as well with her dog Luna.
