Hillary Kovacs

Peddrew-Yates Hall/Payne Hall RLC

Hillary serves as Residential Learning Coordinator for the Payne, Peddrew-Yates, and New Residence Hall East (PNPY) communities. Payne is host to the Residential Leadership Community. Hillary received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and her M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She is in her third year in the RLC position. 

Prior to joining the PNPY community, Hillary served as Residential Learning Coordinator for Johnson and O’Shaughnessy Halls. Her determination to assist students in transitioning successfully into their collegiate experience while growing as people and in community keeps her energized and eager to connect with students. Hillary’s favorite Aspiration, Civility, is a driving motivation for challenging students to pay attention to the impact they have on others in all they do. She is also guided by her strengths to engage in the world as authentically as possible. 

In her spare time, Hillary enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and her Labrador retriever, Josie.
